This early ZENITH El Primero A385 is one of a kind…the dial has aged beautifully to a dark brownish grey. Even the Sub-Dials have darkened to a spectacular, unique overall dark patina.

The overall dark dial really makes the applied indices pop up. The red center second hand makes a beautiful contrast to the dial.

The case is in great condition with an even and nice patina without any heavy dents. All edges are razor sharp!

Crown and pushers are still original as they came in 1969.

The Gay Freres ladder bracelet is in the best condition without any stretch. The bracelet comes in full length to fit a 21 cm wrist easily. End-Links are marked „ZK“ as they should be.

This 1969 El Primero is a true eye-catcher and will bring a lot of joy to its new owner.

Wearing it on a suede brown leather strap is also a great option, or switch to a green perlon strap for the real vintage look. This case will match with almost every strap you can imagine. Because of the dial color, it will also be a good match with many brighter strap colors.

You should try a sand or beige colored perlon strap…will look awesome on a summer day when you are sitting in a café at the beach during your holidays with a light linen shirt…

It is definitely one of my favorite watches and very hard to let go. So please keep it in good care!
