Probably the most sought after neo-vintage IWC quartz watch at the moment…for below 2k.
Beautiful IWC 3072 jumbo from the 1980s with TV dial and strong Gerald Genta influences. The reference 3072 is strongly reminiscent of the PP Aquanaut, which was not designed by Genta, but is based on the Nautilus’ design.
Rare minty rhodium, straight brush finished dial. Overall great condition. Super sharp watch case. Light patina on the hands.
Note: the “cream” dial is an aged rhodium dial. The 3072 was made in satinated rhodium, blue matt and black matt.
This rhodium dial is the only dial that has this beautiful brushed / satinated finish.
Diameter without crown: 38mm
The crown is almost fully retractable in the case.
Super flat daily beater at only 8,5mm
New WATCHURBIA prime rubber diamond strap.
Including IWC catalog excerpt with details about the watch.
Really classy looking (investment) watch for a great price. This reference is under high demanded!
