The first execution of „Der Fliegerchronograph“ comes with the rare plexiglas crystal. The reference 3740 was only made for about two years. It was replaced by reference 3741 in 1991/92 with sapphire crystal.

The unpolished case has some nice end even patina, the plexiglas is still in very good condition.

The black „made in Germany“ perlon strap is a good match for this neo-vintage Pilot’s watch.

It still comes with the original IWC leather strap in good condition and the original pin-buckle, so you can change back to leather if you fancy this.
