18K Pink or Rose Gold, Ultra-Thin Vacheron Constantin Ref. 4600 “Jumbo” / Jubilee / Patrimony

This early 1950s beauty boasts an absolutely stunning dial patina, resembling a “spider dial.”
The rich dark champagne tone perfectly complements the elegance of the 18K rose gold case. To enhance contrast, I’ve paired it with a dark brown, handmade-in-Germany “Fjord Leather” strap.

In 1950, when most watches ranged from 30-33mm, a 36mm case was considered exceptional. The Ref. 4600 wears even slightly larger than its 36mm diameter suggests.
