Lemania RAF 6BB Monopusher Chronograph – Calibre 2220
A rare and increasingly sought-after RAF-issued Lemania monopusher chronograph, powered by the legendary hand-wound Lemania Calibre 2220. This column-wheel monopusher movement traces its roots to the celebrated Lemania CHT 15 architecture and is widely regarded as one of the finest military chronograph calibres of its era. All chronograph functions are operated through a single pusher, a configuration rarely encountered outside purpose-built military watches.
Built as a genuine military tool watch, it features the distinctive asymmetric stainless-steel case, fixed spring bars, and the clean, highly legible dial design that has made the 6BB references favourites among collectors of military-issued chronographs.
The watch retains its original handset; the lume appears to have been sympathetically restored at some point during its life, preserving the original configuration and character of the watch.
It is fitted with a new German-made Perlon strap in sand, a shade that perfectly complements the warm patina of the luminous hour markers and suits the watch’s understated military aesthetic.
With its fascinating RAF provenance, iconic case design, and one of the most respected monopusher chronograph movements ever produced, the Lemania 6BB remains one of the most charismatic and collectible military chronographs available today.
