We are quite sure that many watch enthusiasts have made their decision to look deeper into IWC’s 34mm Ingenieur line since these became highly desirable about a good year ago.
People have changed their minds on “small” watches already, these are classy and comfortable to wear. And a vintage 34mm Ingenieur with integrated bracelet wears bigger anyhow. More like a 36mm. Ask other owners and they will confirm.
We admit, of course, if you are in the league of wrists with over 20cm circumference these might still be a bit small for you…or maybe only until you become older yourself.
We also notice that the mixte (gold & steel) versions become quite popular as well again. I mean, look at this golden bezel and how its refelecting the sunlingt…just stunning, especially when combined with this glossy black dial.
Our 3508 comes as full set including original invoice (bought in Germany July, 1992), inner- and outer box, stamped warranty card, service booklet and warranty booklet.
The bracelet easily fits up to 18cm wrist circumference.
It’s an absolutely beautiful IWC Ingenieur Ref. 3508 / 500,000 A/M (anti-magnetic).
Powered by IWC’s calibre 35790, which is a heavily modified ETA2892-A2 with a 21K solid gold rotor.
Only about 200 watches have been sold like this.
The total production of the 3508 is about 955 pieces.
