OMEGA Seamaster 120 Plongeur deluxe diver / Date known as Jacques Mayol (ref. 396.0900), circa 1981.
Mythical steel diver’s watch, worn at the time by freediver Jacques Mayol (he was wearing it when he broke his own freediver’s record at 101m off the coast of the island of Elba in 1981). Brushed steel barrel-shaped case with overflow crown, graduated epoxy bi-directional bezel and flat clip-on caseback (signed and numbered, decorated with the Seamaster logo). Black dial with large centre second hand, date window at 3 o’clock, overlaid markers and luminescent spatula hands. Omega steel bracelet built into the case with the original folding clasp (1382-381)including diver extension.
Minor patina on the unpolished case. Great looking watch with AP-Style bracelet.
Original and unbroken bezel inlay!
Full stainless steel version.
Bracelet fits up to a ca. 19.5cm wrist.
