1979 Rolex GMT Master Pepsi – 1675 / MK5 A / Lemrich / maxi dial.
Why “A”?
Because a small batch of matte dials was made by “Lemrich”, whilst the standard dial of the MK5 was made by Beyeler. There is also a MK5B
As always, the devil is in the details and makes a difference…the differences between the standard and a “Lemrich” dial are small but have a big impact on collectibility.
The dial is in impeccable condition, take a closer look at the pictures and adore the beauty of this vanilla patina. Wow!
Serial# 5.8 m = 1979
Bracelet stamped “VB” = 1977 / 580 end links. Easily fitting up to a 20cm wrist.
