IWC Ingenieur 3521 Chronometer – Gerald Genta – Full Set -1992

IWC has released many 34 mm versions of the “Ingenieur” Series. The only one that officially certified for a chronometer is the 3521. I mean, all other models are beating at a most high accuracy as well…but IWC though the Ingenier Series deserved some upgrade in the 1990s.

We recently found out that almost 70% of all Ingenieur models with integrated bracelet (no matter if 34 or 40 mm, with mechanical or quartz movement) have been sold to Germany. The reason was easy, there were many Engineers in Germany in the 1980s and 1990s …don’t know where they are now…but ok.

Coming to the point, this 3521 is in great condition, wes recently serviced by our watchmaker and comes with the original hang tag (showing serial number and reference), original chronometer hang tag, original chronometer certificate, warranty booklet, service, booklet, owners manual, service history (2006), box, outer box and the box-protection slipcase. So it can be considered a full set. Missing is the original invoice with date of purchase.

Bracelet has original covered butterfly-clasp (exclusive feature of the 3521) and fits up to 19cm wrist. Great condition!

Case has some very minor patina, no big hits or dents. All parts original.
Dial is absolute flawless in bright white! Stunning!
The hands are gorgeous as well.
