The “skinny” one.

This one is for the connoisseur of rare IWC watches.
If you are looking for a graph paper dial Ingenieur SL Automatic, you will notice that most of the available ones are reference 3506 and have a “swiss made” signed dial.

This version, however, is a bit different. It is the very first version of the midsize Ingenieur after the release of the iconic 1832 Jumbo.

Not only does it have a rare centered bezel, it also has a “SWISS” signed dial. This version was released in 1982 under the reference 3505.
This is a watch that you don’t see every day and that will become even rarer on the market once you buy this one…because you will want to keep it, for sure!

Case and bracelet are in good condition, but have been polished over the years. Everything still looks great though!

The dial has some minor stains, but nothing that distracts from the great looking graph paper pattern.

This version is still all white, while the dials of the later 3506 references have a blueish touch in the white pattern.

The indices are in good condition, as are the hands.
The original integrated steel bracelet fits up to a wrist size of about 19cm.

Observing the marked prices for the more common 3506, you will notice that the demand for rare ingenieurs is high. Simply a beauty and a great investment piece as well. Take the opportunity to own one of the rarest Ingenieur references, the 3505.
